- Each Ring doorbell comes with a sticker on the back that indicates whether or not it is compatible with another model in your house. For example, the Ring Pro and the Nest Cam are both compatible as they share a common pin code.
- Each Ring Doorbell has a unique QR code and there can only be one QR code registered to one account each QR code is specific to the model that it corresponds with.
There are two ways in which to set multiple Ring Doorbells up for your house.
Method 1: Find your existing ID Code by clicking here > Login > My Devices > Rings > Ring ID Number (at the bottom)
Enter that number into all of the other devices that you would like set up for your house.
Method 2: if you are setting up multiple Ring Doorbells that do not have the same ID Code
- Click here > Login > My Devices > Rings > Create New Ring. Follow the on-screen instructions to find your new Ring’s ID Code.
- Enter that number into each of the additional doorbells that you would like set up.
- You can now re-visit the settings page to add more devices.
- From your front doorbell page, select:
- Connected Products > + Connect new product.
Setting Up Your Doorbell
You can use either the mobile app or web to set up your Ring device. However, connecting an already installed ring doorbell involves the same steps, regardless of which device you use.
A. Web App
- Set up your camera(s). Before you begin, make sure that you have connected each Ring device to a power source and have a solid Wi-Fi connection.
- Open the Ring app on your iOS or Android device.
- Press the “Add Device” button, then “Home Security Devices” and select the brand name of your Nest Cam (we recommend an outdoor model).

- When connecting a single camera, you’ll be asked if it’s wired or a wireless connection.

- Once you are finished, press the back button in the top left corner and add additional devices to your Ring Alarm system.
