• Step 1: Activate Personal Results in the Google Home app (because it’s not intuitive).
• Step 2: Now, first tap the Google Home device(s) you wish to utilize as a doorbell chime, then go to its settings icon to find the Personal Results option.
• Step 3: You may now access your Google app data from your Home device, including Gmail, Calendar, Photos, and other Google applications. Naturally, this will irritate some individuals.
• Step 4: Toggle to the Nest app and choose the Settings icon.
• Step 5: The Nest app then connected me to the Google Assistant app and instructed me to recognize and respond to instructions. I never got the prompts, but perhaps you will.
• Step 6: That’s everything! Remember that your Google Home’s “remote chime” will only play if the Nest Hello doorbell is rung. You won’t hear any motion-activated bells or announcements.

• Step 4: Now dettach the wire, straighten it, and cut it so that just a fourth of the exposed wire is visible.
• Step 5: Feed the cable into the front or back chime’s clip, depending on which doorbell you’re connecting.
• Step 6: Disconnect the ‘trans’ wire from the chime’s trans terminal before continuing. Straighten and trim the wire until just a fourth of it is visible.
• Step 7: Place the wire into the hook on the gray wire of the chime connector while pinching the plastic clip.
• Step 8: Make that the ‘front’ or ‘rear’ wire, as well as the ‘trans’ wire, are both securely fastened.
